Oh obviously I don’t like my money, what lil’ bit I have, I just keep finding things that take a great deal of it to complete. But gawd is it fun. So the newest obsession I have developed is quilting. Loves it. So to start out I did a simple tote bag. Turned out really really awesome looking. It wasn’t as tedious or annoying as I thought it was going to be at first. I managed to find a simple beginners pattern. After I had gotten everything cut to the strips I needed it was no problem. It took me a day and a half to make this. :D Not very long at all.

I ran out of the fabric that was supposed to be a liner. So this bag got a funky two colored liner. I don’t think it makes much difference at least its covered right. :P I’m really happy with it expect a few mess ups. I think next I’m going to work on a blanket. Maybe a child size one just so I can see what all I have to do, because looking at pattern it has a lot more “quilting” than the tote bag. Soo we’ll see. I might just have to take another trip to Murray so I can get more fabric. Stupid-ass Paris wal-mart!!!! Don’t have what I need.

So I finally finished the Am-love’s Pyscho blanket. Just gotta get it washed and then somehow to her. Which should be fun being she is in Virginia and I’m in Tennessee. Yep totally seeing a ‘quick’ drive on that one. :P Anywho I have started yet another thing. I’m guess I can’t have just one project going I have to have like 3 or 4. I just can’t make it easy on myself can I. The pattern I found for this one is called Basically Striped. I found it on Lion Brand.  I figure it would be the easiest one to do since I have so many others going on. The yarn I used for this is as always Red Heart Super Saver in Warm Brown, Aruba Sea, Coffee, and Earth & Sky. The Earth & Sky is the multi one. I just absolutely love the name. >.> Don’t really know why, but its cool. This picture was taken by an awesome camera. So yay for no blurry-ness.

I’ve rummaged through my box of unfinished/finished things and found some more items I can put up on here. Once I get home and drag them out of hiding I will take some pictures and put them up. Sooner or later. I’m going to try and come up with some patterns of my own. Hopefully!!!! I’m really good at reading and following other people’s instructions, but to make my own. >.< I don’t know how well I would do.

Oki so as you can see I have uploaded a few pictures of the things that I have done. Of course this isn’t anywhere near finished. I still have to figure out what I want to put on here and where. When I get more things started I will post them as I go. Right now I’m finishing up my love, Am’s, blanket. We were chatting one day and I was showing her a picture of a pattern I had found on LionBrand yarn it is called Log Cabin Afghan.

You can find it at their website, but you will have to join up first. It doesn’t cost anything…They just send you e-mails every once in a while with some patterns in it. She picked out her colors too. They kind of threw me off in the beginning but of course as you work with them long enough  they grow on you. She picked out Bonbon print, Hot Red, Turqua, Magenta, Orchid, and Black. Its looking pretty neat since this was the first time I tried one like this. Sorry that the picture is a lil’ blurry. I need to invest in a better camera.

Hmmm, I’ve started working again on the BF’s blanket. If he wasn’t so freaking tall he probably would have gotten it sooner. :P Um, I think the pattern I’m using for his is off Lion Brand as well not to sure though. I forgot what it was called, but its basically the log cabin afghan in pieces. With that one I’m using the Red Heart Super Saver yarn in black, red, brown, and gray. My poor gray yarn he is slowly dying. I need to go pick some more of that up so I can finish it.

I managed somehow to find one of those Flirty Girl Fitness videos…don’t know how I did that, but I did. OMG that killed my legs for like three days after I worked out to it. It was ridiculous and I didn’t even do the whole thing. I did just about 30 mins I believe. -_- That’s saying something isn’t. Poor poor out of shape Jess…*pats herself* Anyway I acquired a fitness ball and some weights as well. So yesterday was fitness ball day. So now my abs, arms, and inner thighs are screaming at me!

I didn’t get my initial weight when I started all this, but I wish I had so I could actually keep track of how I am doing. I must find myself a scale next. But so far I haven’t been craving anything really from giving up all the sodas and sweet things. Which is really good considering my hypoglycemia. Motivation: Help prevent Diabetes!!!!! Cause my grandmother has it, my father, my aunt, and some of my uncles may have it as well. So that is the main goal. NO DIABETES for the Jessica.

OH and I have no more school now! YAY YAY….yay…I really don’t know how long the excitement is going to last because boredom and I are not… I repeat NOT… friends. At all. So once the bf gets back we are going to go house hunting I do believe and I’m going to look for some jobs. *nods* Something that will…WILL!!! be in the computer field! I’m totally refusing to do anything else. Well that is all I have for today! BYE BYEZ

Well the Joshua came back! YAY we had to go get him, we being Aunt Karen and I, in Dyersburg. That was the first time I have been to Dyersburg as far as I can remember. We had a good time just driving around and talking. I think it was like close if not 8 already we had gotten hungry and decided on eating Taco Bell. Poor Aunt Karen ended up with heartburn too. So about 9 or so we got our boys and basically ran like hell to get back home. All of us were tired and of course the bf was hungry as hell. The drive back was quit entertaining Uncle Bull was loud and rather happy obviously to get off the boat and see us.

When we actually got back to the farm in Mckenzie…we found out that the lights on the inside of the lil’ silver car no longer work. -_- Just great. We had no clue as to how fast we were going. Each time we went to check it we had to turn the overhead light on. Oh yea and that light was totally blinding!!!! So this weekend we are supposed to go back out there I think. They are doing this big cook out and Uncle Bull’s son, his girl, and someone else I think is going to be there as well. This good weather better keep up!

Yesterday I was dead. We got home late, cause the bf had to stop by Wendy’s cause he was so hungry….and to see his man friend of course. I don’t even remember what time it was that we had gone to bed. Well when 7 o’clock rolled around I was crawling around like a zombie. Oh yea and I probably looked that good too. -_- Gawd I still don’t feel too good, but oh well its Friday!!!!!! Thank Gawd. I don’t know what I would do if it was Monday. I would probably move a bed in the hardware lab and sleep……hmmm that doesn’t sound that bad anyway. Actually a really good idea. Anyway I will leave now before my head hits the keyboard…. ^-^”/” Buh bye!!!

It would play the game and then just restart and it kept doing that and doing that. I was ready to throw the stupid thing.  Anywhoo I have just opened myself up to a once forgotten obsession. >.< Friendship bracelets. Oh gawd why do I do this to myself. I’ve made three so far and have a lot more thread to go through. Oh yea. Everyone is getting one! Where they like it or not!!!

I totally just had an epiphany, and in retrospect makes me look real stupid! I was thinking some people on FB that I really don’t care for and I didn’t really want them seeing my stuff…well ‘Reject,’ I said to myself, ‘Why don’t you just change privacy settings.’ Yep totally made me look stupid right there. Don’t you love that? When you either answer your own questions or just have an realization that all you can do is shake your head.  Good gawd I’m a genius.

So another thing I have been doing to stay busy is helping my Grandmother paint some rooms in her house. The first one we did really turned out well! We did it in like a deep earthy green color and a tan-ish color. I think the names were Sweet Annie, Pony Tail, and Candied Caramel. I think.  So the whole room is in earth tones! Totally in love with that room.

Oh yea I’m totally enjoying this nice weather we are having right now! Its been in the 50′s and up for almost a week now. Omg the cats and I are really loving the windows being open. They’ll roam around to each window through out the day! They kind of follow the sun. *nods* Well Sashi does anyway.
